Nonprofit Dreamin’ takes place March 25–27, 2026

  • Wednesday, March 25: Sponsor setup, informal networking, and speaker dinner. Sessions start bright and early, 9am, on Thursday.
  • Thursday, March 26 9am-5pm
  • Friday, March 27 9am-2pm

The host venue is the Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC), located at 220 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202

What are the best ways to get to the venue?
  • Light Rail: Use the LYNX Blue Line. Closest stations include 7th Street (3 blocks), CTC/Arena (3.5 blocks), and 3rd St/Convention Center (5 blocks)
  • From the Airport: The CATS Route 5 “Sprinter” bus runs from CLT Airport to the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC). FFTC is about a 4-block walk from the CTC
  • Note on Shuttles: Most Uptown hotels do not operate airport shuttles. If you require a hotel-operated shuttle, consider staying near the airport.

Where should I stay and how do I get around?

We’ve scoped out several hotels within walking distance or a short rail ride from our venue at the Foundation For The Carolinas (FFTC). Here is the lowdown for our March 2026 event!

Venue & Arrival Info

  • The Venue: 220 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202.
  • From the Airport (CLT): Take a rideshare or the CATS Route 5 “Sprinter” bus to the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC). It’s a short 4-block walk from there to the venue!
  • Local Rail: Use the LYNX Blue Line. The 7th Street, CTC/Arena, and 3rd St/Convention Center stations are all walkable to the venue.

  • Free breakfast: Standard at Hampton Inn, SpringHill Suites, Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Residence Inn, Embassy Suites, Holiday Inn Express brands.
  • Full‑service/luxury properties (Omni, Kimpton, AC) typically offer paid breakfast only.
  • Airport shuttles: Most Uptown hotels do not operate CLT shuttles. If you prefer a shuttle, choose an airport‑area hotel (e.g., Holiday Inn Express – Airport, DoubleTree Charlotte Airport, Residence Inn Charlotte Airport) and ride CATS Sprinter/rail for uptown events.
  • Local shuttles to FFTC: The Residence Inn Charlotte Uptown advertises a complimentary Uptown shuttle (confirm hours). Other Uptown hotels rarely run area shuttles; rely on walking/rail.
  • Transit to venue: From CTC/Arena or 7th Street stations it’s a short walk to FFTC (220 N Tryon). Many hotels above sit within a 3–12 minute walk of those stations.
